Job summary

Southgate Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Operative/PACU/OR care in a full-time role in Southgate, Michigan. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Michigan, with a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor's in Science Nursing preferred.
• Current RN License required.
• Experience in ASC/PACU/OR settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per established standards and ASC policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure patient safety.
• Supervise or direct patient care in the Operating Room as needed.
• Coordinate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure efficient care.
• Record care accurately in patient records and report unusual events promptly.
• Assist in training new staff and balancing team and individual responsibilities.
