Job summary

Southgate Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Op, PACU, and OR duties. This full-time role involves patient assessment, intraoperative support, post-operative care, and ensuring a safe, compliant environment.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and be comfortable in a high-functioning surgical setting. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, 401k with employer matching, PTO and holidays, maternity leave, certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Current RN License in the state where work is located.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in ASC/PACU/OR settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Supervise and direct patient care in the OR setting as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights awareness.
• Coordinate care with Surgeons, Anesthesia, and other staff.
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff as needed.
