Job summary

Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI seeks a Registered Nurse in the Pre-op/PACU department for a part-time, 12-hour day shift. The RN delivers patient-centered perioperative care for patients before and after surgery in an active operating room environment.

Requirements include a current Michigan Nursing License and a BSN within five years; ICU/Prep/PACU experience and ACLS/PALS are preferred. Trinity Health Michigan offers strong benefits, tuition assistance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
ICU and/or Prep/PACU experience preferred.
ACLS, PALS preferred.
Graduation from accredited nursing program.
New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years.

Responsibilities

Care for patients before and after their surgical procedure in the Pre-op/PACU department.
Provide quality patient-centered care considering age, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice.
Act as a clinical/educational resource to others on the unit.
Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth patient flow and high quality perioperative care.
