Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and maintain clinical competence.
• Adhere to hospital safety policies including infection control and safe patient handling.
• Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide patient/family teaching.
• Accurately document patient care activities and quality monitoring items.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to physicians and health-care team to improve outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Apply critical thinking and pursue continued education opportunities.
