Job summary

Phelps Health in Missouri is seeking a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process and maintain high safety standards. You will administer medications, perform ongoing assessments, and educate patients and families as part of a collaborative care team.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN or demonstrate strong nursing experience, with current Missouri RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policies for patient care and infection prevention.
• Provides nursing care including meds administration and patient/family teaching.
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status.
• Documents care activities and quality monitoring items for compliance.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to physicians and team to improve outcomes.
• Delegates tasks to team members to support teamwork and safety.
• Performs delegated tasks to maintain quality and safety.
