Job summary

Lexington Clinic's Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lexington, KY seeks an RN Pre-op/PACU to provide safe, patient-family centered perioperative care in a fast-paced ASC.

The role supports the nursing process, adheres to care plans, and reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. Requires KY RN license and 1 year perioperative/critical care experience; BLS, ACLS and PALS per policy.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky.
• At least 1 year of perioperative, critical care, or emergency room experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care for pre-op and PACU patients.
• Follow medical plan of care and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with perioperative team to ensure patient-family centered care.
• Attend to safety and infection control and documentation.
