Job summary

Lexington Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse Circulator for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lexington, KY. The RN Circulator provides perioperative nursing care in the operating room and is responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of patient care in the ambulatory setting.

Requires current KY RN licensure, BCLS; ACLS within 6 months; PALS preferred. Prior OR experience recommended; strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Progressive OR experience of at least 1 year.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room.
• Evaluate and document all components of perioperative care.
• Utilize nursing process in the perioperative and outpatient environment.
• Circulating nurse reports to the Manager.
