Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN for Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery (PACU). The unit supports 14 rooms and emphasizes continuity of care by keeping the same nurse with patients when possible.

Requires active KY RN license, BCLS, ACLS and PALS, IV start proficiency, and at least one year of PACU/ICU RN experience. Flexible hours in a fast-paced perioperative setting with strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN Licensure in the State of Kentucky.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required.
• Proficient in starting IVs.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in PACU or ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and recovery nursing care in Pre-Op and Phase II PACU.
• Ensure continuity of care by assigning the same nurse when possible.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and multitasking.
