United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an RN Pre-Op/PACU to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center as a PRN. This role centers on perioperative nursing and delivering high-quality patient care.

The RN must hold an unrestricted state license, have 1–3 years of Pre-OP/PACU experience, and current BLS/ALS/PALS. ASC experience strongly preferred and a commitment to teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' PreOP/PACU experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Team player with effective communication with staff and physicians.

Responsabilités

• Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Ensure safe, family-centered care in the perioperative environment.
• Adhere to organizational policies and safety standards.

Job Summary:

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: General Surgery, Dental, Gynecology, Breast Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Pain Management

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
