Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care with a focus on pre-screening for surgeries and perioperative coordination. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective plans of care and discharge planning.

The position requires BSN preferred and an active RN license, with BLS and additional certifications obtained within 6 months of hire. A supportive team and commitment to excellence are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license; BLS (ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire).
• Experience in orthopedic, neurosurgical, pain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Screening for Surgeries and nursing assessments.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Adheres to hospital policies; maintains patient safety and confidentiality.
• Documents patient care activities in the medical record; supports discharge planning.
