Job summary

Alan B. Miller Medical Center is seeking a Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse for a full-time day position. The PAT RN will coordinate preoperative assessments, ensure patients are medically optimized, and partner with physicians and departments to complete required documentation.

Florida RN licensure and active credentials are required; ADN is required with BSN preferred. Opportunities for professional growth are available within UHS network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete preoperative assessments for surgical patients.
• Ensure patients are medically optimized and prepared for surgery.
• Identify risks to reduce delays and cancellations.
• Ensure all required documentation and clearances are completed in advance.
