Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure/certification required (BLS); ACLS/PALS preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Provide patient and family education on conditions and care plans
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed and equipment is monitored
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and audits
