Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to care for mothers, newborns, and gynecologic post-procedure patients on the Day shift. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient- and family-centered care while prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care
• Delivering patient- and family-centered care that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs
• Coordinating care with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Providing health education that empowers patients and families
• Prioritizing patient safety while maintaining a therapeutic and healing environment
• Leading and collaborating with nursing team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Participating in shared governance, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrating critical thinking, accountability, and clinical excellence every day
