Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Women’s Services - Mom & Baby unit. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care during nights, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families through postpartum and gynecologic recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (must be licensed).
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care.
• Delivering patient- and family-centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Coordinating care with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Providing health education that empowers patients and families.
• Prioritizing patient safety while maintaining a therapeutic and healing environment.
• Leading and collaborating with nursing team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Participating in shared governance, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrating critical thinking, accountability, and clinical excellence every day.
