RN - Postpartum

Profession: Client Child Health (MCH)

Specialty: Post Partum (PP) - Critical Need

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12 hours

Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM

Experience:

• 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years

License:

• Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Must-Have:

• Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring
• Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws
• Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration
• Demonstrated ability to perform urine point of care testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of IStat
• Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring
• Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns
• Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including IV administration and maintenance
• Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets and lights
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers
• Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training
