Job summary

Corewell Health’s Lakeland Hospital Niles is seeking a registered nurse for a 24-bed Post-Surgical unit, covering bariatric, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and pediatric post-surgical care. The RN uses patient-family centered care and the nursing process to provide high-quality care.

Under Nurse Leader guidance, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring education is documented in the health record and that discharge planning involves patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing must be completed within 5 years.
• Must be MI Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care under Nurse Leader guidance.
