Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. (via Kedplasma) seeks a licensed RN to support plasma donor programs in a clinical setting. You will evaluate donor eligibility, manage medical incidents, educate donors, and ensure regulatory compliance to protect donor health and safety.

Responsibilities include performing exams, reviewing health histories, administering immunizations, and maintaining meticulous documentation while fostering a welcoming donor experience. Strong regulatory familiarity is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed RN and able to practice in the center's state.
• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (e.g., Nursing).
• Current CPR certification and 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and assess donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and lab results; consult Center Medical Director as needed.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, benefits, and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor adverse reactions with accurate documentation.
• Respond to donor reactions and escalate when necessary; maintain emergency equipment.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide confidential counseling.
• Participate in safety committee activities and educate staff on protocols.
• Assist with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures when needed.
• Maintain donor charts and document medical incidents for review.
• Promote donor retention by creating a welcoming, informative, and safe experience.
