Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Tucson, AZ seeks a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN to provide specialized critical care nursing to critically ill children. You will continuously monitor patients, manage complex therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric critical care team.

Active RN license and BLS/PALS are required, ACLS preferred, with 1–2 years PICU or acute care experience preferred. Strong assessment, documentation, and family education skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of PICU, pediatric critical care, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for critically ill children and managing complex pediatric conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor pediatric patients for changes in condition.
• Manage medications, IV therapies, blood products, ventilators, and other critical care treatments.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and other critical parameters.
• Recognize and respond promptly to pediatric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide age-appropriate education and support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and critical care standards.

Education & Experience:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.

1-2 years of PICU, pediatric critical care, or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Experience caring for critically ill children and managing complex pediatric conditions is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

BLS certification required.

PALS certification required.

ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.

CCRN-Pediatric certification preferred.
