Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our hospital team in Tavares. You will assess patient needs, develop and communicate care plans, and implement nursing interventions for quality outcomes.

As a full-time, day-shift RN, you collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and pursue ongoing professional growth. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with an Associate’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description

Assesses and diagnoses patients' and families needs to provide quality care. Develops and communicates realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with the patient and family. Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided. Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursues ongoing professional growth and development. Provides patient education and support to address identified needs. Monitors and evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
