Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift in Tavares to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will assess patient needs, develop care plans, document care activities, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives while ensuring safety and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluent English required for both spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' and families' needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate realistic problem lists for each patient with patient and family.
• Implement plans of care, nursing interventions and procedures with proper judgment.

Job Description:

Assesses and diagnoses patients' and families needs to provide quality care. Develops and communicates realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with the patient and family. Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided. Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursues ongoing professional growth and development. Provides patient education and support to address identified needs. Monitors and evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Other duties as assigned.
