Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to assess patient and family needs and develop care plans in collaboration with patients and families. You will implement plans, document care, and act as a role model for staff, while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires an RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications; Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred and a minimum of one year related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS CPR required.
• ACLS required.
• 1+ years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates a plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others.
• Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care provided.

Job Description:

Pursues professional growth and development, maintaining current knowledge, certification, and licensure per hospital policy. Serves as a role model for current and new staff. Attends required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and specific job-related safety, including following Hospital Exposure Control Plans for Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees. Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives.Other duties as assigned.
