Job Description:

• $3,000 Sign On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

• Demonstrates good communication skills respectfully and courteously when interacting with patients, co‑workers, physicians, and colleagues within the department.
• Collaborates with on‑call Physicians to monitor utilization of resources to deliver quality care in a safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.
• Communicates information to patients, families, other providers, and service representatives.
• Maintains efficiency in patient work‑up flow and triage responsibilities.
• Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with Hospital guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in ongoing staff development and serves as a mentor and advisor to new team members.
• Maintains accurate, legible documentation of patient medications, messages, sample meds, and pharmacy documentation.
• Keeps current with new technology and updates on care and medications.
• Schedules follow‑up appointments using Physician Group Systems for patients after delivery and during the post‑op period according to discharge instructions.
• Obtains discharge summaries from all ED and hospitalizations as necessary for physicians and contacts patients with follow‑up calls within 2 days of discharge for high‑risk patients.
• Contributes to the growth of the practice by managing patient flow and recommending follow‑up visits if needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Good medical knowledge to assist doctor during patient coordination of care. [Preferred]
