Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and currently licensed in the state.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• One year of leadership experience in an intraoperative setting required.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Serve as clinical resource for perioperative staff using evidence-based knowledge.
• Evaluate practice through quality and performance improvement measures.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the perioperative team and stakeholders.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and manage change within the organization.
• Participate in staff interviews and assist in evaluating staff performance.
