Description:Pediatric Stepdown RN needed for a mixed unit with rehab focus.PCU experience is not required, but pediatric experience with necessary skills is accepted.Candidates must have experience with trach and ventilator management.The position requires working rotating shifts, including days and nights.Patient ratios are expected to 1:4.The role includes caring for pediatric and adolescent patients with various diagnoses.Common conditions include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burns, and feeding disorders.Weekly weekend shifts are required, and holiday shifts will be scheduled as needed.Travelers may be asked to float within specialty and other departments as needed.The position may involve floating to other locations if required.Candidates must be comfortable with patient care skills, including central line management and medication administration.Infection prevention and respiratory care skills are essential for this role.Candidates should possess experience in feeding management and patient assessments.Applicants will need to complete compliance and onboarding requirements before starting.
