Job summary

Description:1 Year of experience or first timers welcome.Position may float between units.On-call required based on unit census.Weekends required; 5 shifts in a 6-week period.Block schedules are not required.Expected patient ratios are 1:3-5.Candidates must possess pediatric experience.Facility is a children’s hospital and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.Total staff beds are 181.Daily census is 27.Unit supports interdisciplinary teamwork, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.Pediatric patient population includes infants, adolescents, and children.Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.Candidates are required to work 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day).References required covering experience within the last 3 years.Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts unless for an agreed-upon interview.
