Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Mesa, AZ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to pediatric oncology patients. You will monitor patients, administer treatments, manage symptoms, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS and PALS, with 1–2 years in pediatric oncology or acute care. Experience with chemotherapy or complex oncology protocols is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 1–2 years of pediatric oncology, pediatric, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for patients receiving chemotherapy or complex oncology treatments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor pediatric oncology patients for changes in condition, treatment response, and complications.
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor for treatment-related side effects, infection, bleeding, and other complications and respond appropriately.
• Provide symptom management and supportive care while maintaining patient safety.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, precautions, and home care.
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, safety, and oncology care standards.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

1–2 years of pediatric oncology, pediatric, or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
