This Pediatric Oncology RN role offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized hospital setting, focusing on children with a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions. You’ll be providing chemotherapy, blood product administration, and port care, all while collaborating with a dedicated team in the pediatric chemo unit. The work involves managing complex medication protocols, performing lumbar punctures, and caring for children with varied needs, including sickle cell disease and post-treatment support. Experience in blood therapies, central line management, and symptom control is essential. You’ll be part of a team that handles all types of childhood cancers and other sickle cell cases, floating within your skillset to PICU stepdown, adolescent, or pediatric units as needed. This role is both professionally rewarding and integral to improving young patients’ lives, with nights spent in a well-equipped, engaging environment.
