Responsibilities

Description:The role requires experience in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU.The nurse to patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU status and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU in the overflow unit.The unit consists of a 24-bed Pediatric cardiac ICU and a 12-bed overflow unit.Patients will include those with congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant needs, and VAD.The age range of patients is neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.
