Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse (RN) for Pediatrics MS to join a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City. The role features day shifts, 12-hour blocks, and a demand for versatility across pediatrics surgery, trauma, and medical units.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians. Must have Level 1 Trauma experience, ability to float, and PALS/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience with Level 1 Trauma exposure.
• Ability to float to multiple units including surgical, behavioral health, medical, hem onc, step down, and cardiac pediatrics.
• Current Oklahoma RN license or a valid eNLC multistate license.
• PALS certification and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients from simple to complex under supervision.
• Document patient responses and changes in physician orders.
• Assist physicians with exams and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological data; administer medications and IV therapies.
• Educate families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks to nursing support staff and perform other duties.

License: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Must-Have:

Description:Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.Notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients.Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients.Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary.Administers medications as prescribed.Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.Delivers patient care competently.Interacts with family and patients in sharing care plans during hospitalization and at discharge.Informs patients and families of hospital procedures.Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.Delegates tasks to support staff.Performs other duties as assigned.
