Job summary

Union Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the Pediatrics team in Terre Haute, Indiana. The RN will partner with physicians and care staff to deliver high-quality pediatric care across preventive and clinical services.

Responsibilities include vaccines administration, assessing patients, planning care, and patient education while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. This nursing role offers full-time daytime hours with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Must have active IN RN license.
• Previous RN experience preferred.

• Administer vaccines/injections
• Collaborates with the physician or manager to determineneedsof patients
• Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
• Contributes toplanof care for pre-defined patient problems.
• Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.
• Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence.
• Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.
• Assists the physician with special procedures.
• Float within the Pediatric office

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Must have active IN RN license
• PreviousRN experience preferred

License/Certification:

• BLS certification
• IN RN license
