Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a patient in the home setting in Round Lake. The role involves direct patient care, assessments, and care coordination to support recovery and daily living activities.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with BLS/CPR, a current health certificate, and prior home health or acute care experience. Expect a demanding but rewarding schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Health certificate to meet facility requirements.
• One year RN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collects, analyzes and documents nursing data and diagnoses.
• Other RN/LPN duties as assigned.

Days: Monday 7am - 5pm; Tuesday 7am - 7pm; Wednesday 7am - 5pm; Thursday 7am - 7pm; 7am - 7pm; Saturday/Sunday 8am - 8pm

Nights: Friday/Saturday 8pm - 8am

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
• Other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in the state in which the practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
