Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling, W2 status, and weekly direct deposit, with compensation around $48–$52 per hour based on experience.

Candidates should have a minimum 2 years OR (Peds) RN experience, Ohio license, BSN or in progress, and current BLS/ACLS, with CNOR preferred; additional pediatric OR experience and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician and ensure a safe plan of care.
• Maintain continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
• Support credentialing and onboarding processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
