Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced OR RNs for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity requires strong pediatric OR skills and the ability to adapt to a self-scheduling model.

Minimum 2 years OR (Peds) RN experience, Ohio RN license, and BSN required or in progress. BLS/ACLS mandatory; PALS preferred. CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in the OR.

• Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
