Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dedicated RN for its Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, a 9-bed unit focused on pediatric seizure disorders. The role offers a competitive hourly pay and a day/night rotation schedule (7:00AM–7:30PM or 7:00PM–7:30AM).

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, updating care plans, documenting conditions, and educating families. Requires ADN/BSN, 1 year acute care RN experience, RN license, and BLS/PALS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• One year of acute care RN experience.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA and PALS within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

Experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year of employment
