Job summary

Oak Plains Academy, a comprehensive residential treatment program within Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time placement in Ashland City, TN. The role features 3 shifts of 12 hours from 10 AM to 10 PM with 6-week self scheduling options, and a strong patient-care focus in a psychiatric setting.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive benefits, shift differential, and opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program and licensed (or license eligible) in the State of Tennessee.
Preferred experience with children/adoloescents.
Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
21 years of age
Valid driver's license in good standing
Must attend the two-week orientation classes, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Renders professional nursing care to patients within the treatment programs and updates care plans as needed.
Administers medications accurately and documents data per policy.
Participates in formulation and implementation of individual care plans.
