Job summary

Oak Plains Academy in Ashland City, TN is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join a comprehensive residential treatment program for children and adolescents. You will provide professional nursing care across treatment plans, administer medications, and help update care plans in a supportive team setting.

The role offers self scheduling and a 6-week cycle, with 2 shifts of 12 hours (10 AM–10 PM) and a focus on safety, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program and Tennessee licensure is required.
Experience with children/adolescents preferred.
Experience in psychiatric inpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Renders professional nursing care to patients within the treatment programs; conducts ongoing assessment and updates care plans.
Administers medications and documents data in accordance with facility policy; participates in formulation of individual care plans.
Serves as a role model to staff and students in dress and demeanor.
