Job summary

Incredible Health in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown. The role requires 1 year of stepdown or similar high-acuity experience and an ADN or higher nursing degree with an active RN license.

You will monitor medium to high acuity patients, manage IV drips, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Education for patients and families on equipment like BiPAP/CPAP is expected.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or other medium-to-high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers for optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
