Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week. The RN will leverage evidence-based practices, participate in safety initiatives, and support patient families through the continuum of care.

Minimum nursing education is a board-approved program; BLS is required with RN licensure in the practicing state. BSN is preferred and experience in a related service line is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where providing services.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Two years of service line RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Maintains a culture of safety and ethical patient care; adheres to ANA Code of Ethics.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols; ensures accurate EHR documentation.
