Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant • Madill is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Night shifts in the PCU. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and staff, administer medications, monitor patient status, and participate in life-saving measures when required.

Qualifications

• RN license required for state of practice.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process and established protocols.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving activities when needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
