Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking Registered Nurses for PCU/IMC/Stepdown roles to monitor, assess and care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. The RN will administer medications, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and document patient status using electronic records.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, with BSN preferred or ADN accepted, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year in PCU/IMC/Stepdown or similar settings is favored.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in state.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year in PCU/IMC/Stepdown or equivalent.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with complex needs.
• Administer medications and IV infusions.
• Coordinate care with physicians and therapists.
• Document patient status in electronic records.
• Educate patients and families on care.
• Respond rapidly to changes in condition.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
