Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for PCU/IMC/Stepdown units. The role focuses on close patient monitoring, complex interventions, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Candidate should have an active RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and 1+ year in acute care. Onboarding supports licensure maintenance and professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in applicable jurisdiction.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar acute care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring and managing patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in the EMR.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and labs; intervene promptly as needed.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, APPs, and allied health professionals.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and mandatory training.
