Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking an experienced RN to join our PCU on a full-time day shift. You will provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required (state or compact)
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
