Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN license required; BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications may be preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality care per protocols and orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency; document care and education.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and operate medical equipment safely.
• Engage in audits, chart reviews, and quality-improvement efforts.
