Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, focusing on liver transplant needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Follow infection control practices.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Manage IVs, wound care and telemetry monitoring.
• Care for patients requiring high-flow oxygen and advanced respiratory support.
• Support onboarding of new staff and maintain a positive work environment.
