Job summary

A community health center in Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN will be responsible for triaging patient calls, conducting nurse visits, managing chronic diseases, and providing health education. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience and possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal effectively with the public.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding preferred.
• CPR certified.
• All CDC recommended vaccinations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, answer questions, and screen patients.
• Conduct in-person nurse’s visits, including patient intake.
• Collect specimens and perform laboratory testing as directed.
• Administer injections and document activities in EHR.
• Review lab results and refer abnormal results to Providers.
• Coordinate chronic disease programs and manage follow-up care.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
