Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to facilitate patient placement and transfers through the PPTC, coordinating with physicians and hospital staff to ensure timely access to facilities.

The role supports hospital and medical staff quality initiatives and requires a BSN with 3+ years of healthcare experience including acute care; RN license in Texas is mandatory. This is a night-shift, PRN position based in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, (waiver may be granted for ADN with equivalent experience).
• 3+ years healthcare experience; min 2 years acute hospital experience, preferably Adult Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Manages PPTC calls; coordinates patient placement and transfer with physicians, staff RNs, and other departments.
• Ensures calls follow standards and reports quality issues.
• Matches patient needs with system resources to optimize service value.
