• Assume responsibility for nursing components of the patient/family education process.
• Communicate with the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and evaluate understanding of informational manner.
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provide medication and IV administration safely and timely.
• Take personal responsibility and initiative for performance and professional growth.
• Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
