Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate patient admissions and discharges, conduct admission assessments, reconcile medications, and educate patients and families. The role supports throughput and reduces bedside nurse workload while ensuring safe, patient-centered transitions into inpatient care.

Qualified candidates will have MA RN licensure and 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience; BSN is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required. BSN strongly encouraged.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in med/surg nursing, transitions of care and care coordination.
• Ability to provide high quality patient care while also understanding throughput to promote safe care.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and complete patient admissions and discharges on designated units.
• Conduct comprehensive admission assessments and medication reconciliation.
• Provide patient and family education and support to manage workload.
• Help decrease bedside nurse workload to allow more direct patient care.

RN program graduate

Massachusetts RN License

BSN preferred
