Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Patient Flow Coordinator, RN (PFC, RN) to support patient care in ICC locations. The role requires autonomous nursing, collaboration with teams, and adherence to clinical protocols.

You will work 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday requirements. Applicants should have a BSN, IL RN license, BLS, and at least two years of RN experience; emergency department experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and active IL RN license required.
• BLS certification and minimum two years of RN experience.
• Emergency department or urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment per OSHA.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document nursing care.
• Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy and medication administration.
• Interpret test results and document interventions.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to coordinate patient care.
• Triaged and prioritized calls and communicate care plans to patients.
• Manage medical emergencies according to protocols.
• Educate patients and mentor staff as needed.
