Job summary

Northwestern Medicine ICC is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator, RN (PFC, RN) to provide direct patient care and clinical support in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a BSN, active IL RN license, and BLS, with at least two years of RN experience; ED/urgent care preferred.

12-hour shifts; weekend/holiday requirements; comprehensive benefits. The PFC, RN collaborates with the healthcare team, documents assessments, coordinates patient flow, and supports education and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and/or consultation within ICC locations.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform nursing assessments and document in patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Coordinate patient education and ensure patient understanding of materials.
